How It Works

The goal is to get rid of all your cards before your opponents do. You form sets (three or more cards of the same rank) and sequences (three or more consecutive cards of the same suit) — called "melds" — and play them to the table.
Each player gets 12 cards (13 for the dealer). The dealer starts with the advantage of an extra card, but that also means they lead the first draw.
On your turn, draw from the deck or pick up the top discard. Lay down melds when ready, then discard one card to end your turn. Keep building your melds and draining your hand.
Win by declaring "Tongits!" when your hand is empty, or by calling a "Fight" (draw) when you think you have the lowest total unmelded card value. The player with the lowest deadwood wins the pot.
